I recently updated my laptop from win8 to win8.1 and external webcams from Logitech and Creative are not working. My application uses Media Foundation for the capture process and everything was fine in win7 and win8 but now, no samples are delivered...
I tested SDK Samples MFCaptureToFile and MFCaptureD3D and same problem arises.
I read something in stackoverflow about a variable not being initialized by webcam drivers, FrameCompletionNumber inside KS_FRAME_INFO structure. As I understood it depends on manufacturers to fix this issue. Is that right?
